CampusPortal: Configuration
and Administration - Session A and B (2 day) By enrolling in both Session A and Session B, participants can take advantage of discounted pricing while benefiting from the valuable content of each day’s session.
Session A (Day 1): Participants learn how to configure portal security, portal transactions, create external links and understand all associated CampusVue dependencies. The session not only exposes participants to Portal functionality, but engages trainees in discussing the online strategies of their institutions. Participants will also learn how to manage key components of a portal environment via CampusPortal’s administrative console. This includes user account management, RSS feeds and the basics of Portal troubleshooting.
Session B (Day 2): This advanced administration course will expose participants to new portal features aimed at enhanced personalization, enterprise application integration, and streamlined user management and application extensibility. This technical course will engage trainees with tools used to create customizations, extensions and integrations with CampusPortal.
